Does Reflect create a log when performing a product update ?   If it does where would it be located ?  The reason I ask, is for some strange reason on one of my systems, a Licenses Home Reflect product is now a Free License ?   This seemed to happened now and the last product update on Nov 29th.

Thanks

Chris

Hi @StorageMan

Thanks for getting in touch, Macrium Reflect when patching will create a file C:\Windows\Macrium Reflect Patch Log.txt. Your license should not be affected when installing a patch. If you manually install the Free Edition over a licensed edition then this will impact the license key in favour of a free license.

You can reinstate your paid license key by using the Macrium Reflect menu option Help > Update License Key, enter your license key into the edit field and follow the wizard.

If you have run an update and your license has been affected then please can you raise a support ticket by visiting https://www.macrium.com/support or email support (at) macrium (dot) com so that we can investigate further.

Many thanks and kind regards.

Thanks for getting back to me.   I took a look at the patch logs, there were no anomaly's and I can't prove or disprove how the Free version got installed on this system ?  There were several software upgrades going on the last week of November to this machine, which caused lots of outages.  Needless to say its all been fixed, Macrium is up and running as a License version.  Thanks for your prompt reply yesterday.
