CD/DVD Burner media creation hangs

Macrium Reflect Workstation Edition 7.2.3897

​If there is no physical media in the CD or DVD burner when selecting this option, the process will show a progress bar and just sit there until you get bored enough to kill the Media Builder and then the Macrium Reflect tasks. Happened to me yesterday and today. Finally decided to try with media already inserted and it went off without a hitch.

I would have expected a prompt to insert media before this started, as you are unable to open the driver drawer​​ to insert media due to the hardware being used by Media Builder.

I am currently unable to reproduce the issue after testing several different types of CD/DVD burner. Please can you visit https://www.macrium.com/support or email support (at) macrium (dot) com to create a new support ticket.

As part of the process please run the Microsoft Information tool (msinfo32.exe) and save the report to an .nfo file and attach to the newly created support ticket or email. This will enable us to see the system configuration and test against a like system.

​I tried this on my home PC with Macrium Reflect Free Edition 7.2.3897 and it worked like a charm.
