When not using DHCP in the rescue media, there is not option to include the domain suffix search order.  This makes it so you have to use a FQDN everywhere.  Also, DFS paths do not work with a static IP.  If I use DHCP with the rescue media, my DFS paths work perfectly.  But with static, they fail to resolve.  I am guessing this has something to do with domain information missing from the static IP config that DHCP provides.

Please add a domain name search order field to the static IP settings in rescue media.
Thanks

Thanks for your post.

This can be configured using the command line in PE, and we will consider adding it to the UI options in a future update.

Kind Regards
