I was notified that an update was available to my MR 7.1.2638 version.  The newer version is 7.1.2722.  Downloaded the update with no issues but the installation fails with "Error 104:  Failed to Patch File".  All previous updates for several versions installed with no difficulty.

Try downloading the full installer with the download agent available here and using that to update.  To save time, click Options in the agent and choose to download only the Reflect installer since you won't need the large PE Components file for this purpose.

One question before I run the full installer.  Will doing so cause me to lose my Backup Definition files?

No, all your definitions and settings will remain intact.

Kind Regards

That process did the trick!  The patch was installed and backup definition files remain untouched.  Thank you both for the help.  Much appreciated!
