I used to be able to pull up the current progress of a scheduled backup in process by the keyboard Control+Alt+m. Now that is not working. Is there a keyboard shortcut to pull up the progress window?

That's the correct shortcut, although it's configurable as described in this article.  Even if you didn't change it, try doing so just to see if that makes it work.  If so, then simply changing it back might get things working again, otherwise it's possible that something else on your system is intercepting keyboard shortcuts before passing them along to other applications like Reflect.  You can also of course right-click the Reflect system tray icon to bring up the activity monitor, although as a huge fan of keyboard shortcuts for efficiency, I know that isn't quite the same.
