Before I had no problem at all with the scheduled backup but since some days I get error 0x01 even if I initiate the backup manually. What can I do?

Is there an error reason at the end of the backup log?
You can access MR logs from the Log tab in the upper-left corner.

Besides, you can use Windows Event Viewer to troubleshoot Windows problems.
