Export Logs.csv fails with network error - How to Fix?

I am trying to submit a backup log to support and so attempted to export the log to send. 
The export gets a Network error. 
I am exporting to the local "Downloads" folder and the network is not involved. 
How to understand and then fix this error, please?

Hi Rich,

This is most likely to be caused by the SSL certificate errors in your other post - sometimes the browser fails the download because in a download, there is no UI to display the security warnings.

However, if you are doing a support upload / data generation via the support upload wizard (Settings -> System -> Generate Support Information), this should contain all the information needed by support. You can also include a screenshot/details of the problem log so that support know exactly which backup to investigate.
