reflect8 has implemented a Japanese UI, but rescue media is still in English.
I copied the Languages folder, but the CNTL+SHIFT+L shortcut was unresponsive.
Is there any plan to make Rescue Media support other language UIs?
Of course, I have localized the base WIM into Japanese by myself and specified it in the custom WIM.
As a side note, there is a bug that the keyboard layout becomes ADLaM when using a Japanese localized WIM as a base.

Localization of the rescue is media currently supported using WinRE. WinRE includes the necessary language packs and fonts for the installed Windows locale, and the necessary language files are automatically coped when the media is built. We are hoping to add additional language packs to PE 10 builds in the future.
Please note that CRLL+SHIFT+L is no-longer supported, This has been replaced by a Language dropdown in 'Other Tasks' > 'Edit Defaults and Settings' > 'Advanced Settings' > 'Language'. Reflect in WinRE will automatically load the first language xml file in the same folder as the Reflect executable.

I join here times to ask when the German language works again in the PE ISO.
In the version 8.0.6036 German in the PE ISO still works fine with pe10_1709x64 all subsequent versions are always English.
So a change in Macrium and not in PE because that has remained the same.
By the way the new version 7.3.6391 works fine in german so why not the v8?

If the Reflect language is showing as German and is set in 'Other Tasks' > 'Edit defaults and settings' > 'Advanced' > 'Language', then all rescue media builds should using the German language when built.
Can you confirm that you only see PE 10 in German, and PE 11 & Windows RE is not?

pe10_1709x64.zip ISO and pe11x64.zip ISO is always english no matter what language is set. Tested with German and French but the ISO is always English.
WinRE is created in both cases with the set language, so it works correctly.

Hi,
i can't see in the release notes that the German language has been removed from the Rescue Media created.
This is sad because it worked until 8.0.6036.
I added the German lp.cab to the Rescue Iso with dism and set the default settings to German but the Rescue Iso boots in English. It would be nice if Macrium would give temporary help to make the iso in German.
Has anyone successfully managed to add the German language to the Rescue Iso?

Hi Coba,
It's the same problem with the French language. Except if you build a Rescue disk from the Windows RE.
But with all WADK's, the xml file for the language are not detected or used by Macrium Reflect.
Nick from the Macrium support, should look what's happen

The same situation with the Ukrainian and Russian languages. The ISO image with WinPE is in English.

In another forum, a user contacted Macrium support and learned that there are problems with the Japanese language and therefore the PE environment is only available in English until further notice.
So they removed the previously working German language at the same time, very nice!
This means that Macrium has not tested the newer versions before the release.
PS. PE was not completely translated in German either, because the available space for German is not enough to translate it correctly.
I think that the Japanese language is even more complex.
I am also of the opinion that here times a statement is appropriate, as it continues.

The language problem for WinPE has been solved. The Macrium team has done a big job to solved all localization problems, for all languages available.
The new released version will be coming soon.
