Checking the logs, noting the run was successful, browsing the image all confirm the scheduled backup was done. So what does the "skipped" status mean? It used to say "Ready."

Just a shot in the dark here but could the computer have been shutdown (not sleeping) at scheduled time but was run instead when the computer was powered on?
Also, when you say "Checking the logs", did you examine the actual job log (click the Logs tab)? That might show a later time than what was scheduled.
Lastly, are you using Macrium's Task Scheduler or Windows Task Scheduler?

If the computer is shut down, the scheduled backup is set to not to run (checkbox unchecked). However, the computer was on for the scheduled backup. When I said "checking the logs" I meant the actual job log under the Logs tab. It showed completed successfully at scheduled time. I use Macrium's scheduler, not Windows Task.

Having the same issue - computer is in sleep mode overnight when backups are scheduled. Win 10 Pro 19043.1348

So, the computer is in sleep mode when a scheduled backup is to run. Reflect wakes the computer, successfully creates the backup, but the listing under "Scheduled Backups" says it was skipped. Is that correct?

No, the backup isn't created - thinking maybe the external USB 3.0 backup hard drive doesn't wake up with the PC (?) I'll try temporarily setting the backup schedule for a time when I'm awake and watch what happens.

Hi rstephan and JohnLemen,
Just to clarify - a backup status of Skipped means either:
- The backup didn't happen at the time scheduled, because the system was not powered up, and either the "Wake the computer to run this task" checkbox was unchecked or the system just failed to wake up. And then, the backup also didn't happen when the system was powered up, because the "Run task as soon as possible after a scheduled start is missed" checkbox was also unchecked.
- The "start the task only if the computer is on AC power" checkbox was checked, and the system was on battery power at the time the scheduled backup was due to run.
rstephan: I can't think of any reason why the Task Scheduler would report "Skipped" for a backup that actually took place. To help us to diagnose this issue, can you please open a support ticket at https://www.macrium.com/support so we can collect your scheduler logs?
JohnLemen: this sounds like a different issue. It could be that the PC isn't waking up correctly, or is taking too long to start up, so the Scheduler thinks it's missed the time the backup should have run. If you set the "Run task after a scheduled start is missed" checkbox, does the next backup still show as Skipped?
