Hi,

When Macrium Reflect is installed, when putting Windows to Hibernate, the computer wakes up almost immediately.

After uninstalling Macrium, Hibernate functions as normal and stays asleep.

I have Scheduled backups in Macrium

Computer if it helps.

What version of Reflect are you running?  And just in case this was accidental, you posted this in the V6 forum.  If that was NOT accidental because you're actually running V6, then V6 reached its formal end-of-support period over three years ago since Macrium supports a given Reflect version for one year after the next major release arrives.  V7 launched in February 2017, so V6 support ended February 2018.

But if you're running V7, specifically some release of V7.3, then please also specify whether you're using Windows Task Scheduler or Macrium Task Scheduler for your scheduled backups. You can check this under Edit Defaults > Schedule.

Sorry I'm on V7, could you move to the correct forum?

Yes, I am using Macrium Task Scheduler.

I can’t move it since I’m not a forum admin. But hopefully that additional information may help Macrium reps or other users here provide assistance. In the meantime though, one test you could run just to gather a data point is to switch to Windows Task Scheduler. Reflect will migrate all existing schedules in the background automatically. Does that prevent unexpected resuming from hibernation?

Just tried it and it works fine with Windows Task Scheduler Smile

Interesting, in that case Macrium may still ask you to submit a support ticket if you’d like to get the issue with MTS fixed rather than simply worked around. And even if you’re fine using WTS instead, if you’re willing to take a bit of time to work with Macrium anyway, information you may be able to give them might identify the underlying cause of this issue. And if that turns out to be a bug in Reflect, then chances are your input will lead to a fix in a future release. Smile
