Update: The link (aka installing version 7.3.5283) did NOT solve the update problem.  I erroneously assumed it did since after installing 7.3.5283 yesterday I tried Other Tasks ->  Check for updates... -> got message saying Reflect is up to date.  That message insinuated the problem was solved.  Today, to my surprise, there is a notification that 7.3.5289 is now available so I did Other Tasks -> Check for updates... -> but got error message: "Unable to download update information".  Could this problem somehow be related to Windows 10 2004 which I installed on October 7, 2020?

It appears that the update server URL is blocked.  What happens if you try this URL in your web browser:

It's likely the AV/Security software is blocking ReflectBin.exe. If you're unable to resolve this the please can you open a support ticket:

Can not create a support ticket it says "Invalid Email Address or Password".  So do I need different credentials to create a support ticket than the credentials I use to login to this support forum?

The AV I'm using is Windows Security (formerly known as Windows Defender) which is integrated into Windows 10.  Perhaps Microsoft thinks ReflectBin.exe is malware?!

The ticketing system is different to this forum and requires a separate account. Please create one if this is the first time you've used it

I opened a support ticket but they were unable to resolve the problem.  Solution was like looking for a needle in a haystack.  Turned off Windows AV/Security but problem persisted.  As a work-around they provided a link to use the latest Reflect installer in lieu of the automatic updater.

FWIW.... the "Unable to download update information" error message did NOT occur with the v7.3.5321 patch.
The solution is a mystery.  Perhaps Macrium Reflect Support found the needle in a haystack and it belonged to them?
