I have recently installed Macrium Reflect (version 6.2, Build 1549) and attempting to create my recovery media using my DVD drive.  The software goes through the steps of building the ISO file and begins burning to the DVD.  The process stops while at 10% progress, ejects the media, and informs me there was an error in the process.  I have trashed 4 DVD's in the process of trying to get it to work with a reboot in the middle just to see if it would help.  I even shut down all active applications.  Please provide me directions on how to fix this issue.

As an alternative to directly burning the DVD, you can crease an ISO file following the instructions provided in tutorial:  http://knowledgebase.macrium.com/display/KNOW/Creating+rescue+media

Once you have managed to create your ISO file you can use CD burning software of your choice to burn the ISO to your DVD rescue media. If you do not have your own ISO burner, there are free ISO burners you can use such as http://www.freeisoburner.com/

As an alternative, assuming your operating system is not too old (e.g. XP) you could also consider a Windows PE USB memory stick rescue media, see http://knowledgebase.macrium.com/display/KNOW/Creating+a+bootable+Windows+PE+USB+stick

Hope this helps
Regards, et
