I've had a look through all the settings, KB and these forums but I can't seem to find what I'm looking for, I'm not sure if this feature actually exists.
At work we use a backup software that allows for "Replication" of backup images. You essentially tell the program monitor the directory containing backup images, tell it where to mirror those files (an external device for example) and it automatically handles keeping it up to date.
We use it to manage offsite backups, permanent external drive is attached for backup jobs. The folder is replicated to another drive, "Z:" for example and we just configure at least 3 drives to be "Z:" which are rotated daily, the replication has time to complete so no intervention required by the user.
I'm just wondering, does anyone know if such a feature already exists? Otherwise I'll just setup a robocopy script to copy any image files without the *.tmp extension before/after the backup job.
Any help is much appreciated.
