Reflect transfers data at blazing speeds. I wish it had a function to copy or move folders and files at similar speeds.
My ten year old PC with USB 2.0 ports copies files to external HDs at less than 30 MB/sec. (I've set policies to Better Performance, Enabled & Disabled Write Cache, tried FastCopy, etc. and get the same results). Reflect almost always transfers data above 200 MB/sec; as high as 900 MB/sec; and usually cruises along between 350 - 500 MB/sec.
If Reflect could copy or move files at 250 MB/sec over USB 2.0, that would be 10X faster than Windows Explorer. If Reflect needed to make a Shadow Copy to do this, it would still save lots of time when copying or moving large folders and files.
On my PCs with USB 3.0, ports and 3.0 external HDs, Reflect transfers data 4X faster. A Copy/Move function would still be desirable for large folders and files.
Maybe there is a technical hurdle that makes this difficult. Maybe it would be easy to do.
