Hello, community!

I installed and am experimenting with Site Manager v8 (8.0.7327) for use in my home network with Reflect 8.1 Home (64-bit, build 7401).  I have eight Home licenses (I've purchased two packs of four).  I've installed the Site Manager agent (8.0.7327) on each machine along with licensed copies of Reflect 8.1 Home.

The first four computers connected to Site Manager without incident.  When I try and connect a fifth computer to Site Manager, it insists that it is "unlicensed".  My understanding is that I'm still fully licensed to use the desktop version of the software, but I can't use Site Manager to manage this machine's backups.  The specific error says, "home edition limit exceeded".

My question: Is Site Manager limited to only the first four Home Edition licenses?  Or have I perhaps misconfigured something along the way?

Thank you for your time!

Hi,

Site Manager does limit Home Edition licenses it can manage - this is part of a system to prevent abuse of home licenses by businesses. If you contact our support team ( https://www.macrium.com/support ) they can add some exceptions to the license system for your licenses.

Kind Regards,

Alex
