I have had the free version for several years and had no problems until 2-3 months ago. I don't run the program all the time, only on Sundays when I perform a full system backup and it launches fine, runs the scheduled backup fine, but when it launches, instead of a window, I get a the icon in the tray and a small bar on the screen. Clicking the bar makes it full screen and minimizing the full screen does not go back to a window but this small bar. Everything works fine and I finally upgraded to a person purchased version just so that I could join the forum although I have no clue as to what difference it makes in the program since as I said it ran fine before 2-3 months ago when all this started. My software version is currently 7.3

Have you tried treating the "bar" like a small window and clicking and dragging a corner to make it bigger?

Nope, I never would have thought if that, but you were spot on since that fixed it. I am aware you can resize most all windows but have no clue how it launched that small so that only the bar was showing. As I mentioned, I have used this program for years and never had this happen before. So many thanks since it was usable full screen but annoying.
