Please note: The Version 8 Download Manager can be used to download Reflect Versions 5, 6, and 7.

I may be reading the original post incorrectly but is the user trying to find updates (patches) for Version 6 (not wanting to update to a more recent version)?

“Check for Updates” doesn’t give you “options” to decide on a version to update to. It tells you if there is an update to a new Reflect release that your current license key is entitled to, and if so it allows you to download the latest such release. In your case, that would likely be the latest release of V6, unless maybe you have a V7 key already loaded, since the late releases of V6 would activate on V7 keys to facilitate in-place upgrades. But in any case, “Check for updates” doesn’t provide a library of all previous releases. The latest release of V6 is 6.3.1865, which arrived on May 8, 2019. If you‘re curious about past versions and want to see release notes spanning all production releases of V6, the link for that is below.

V6 reached its end of support in late February 2018, one year after V7 launched. But Macrium did subsequently issue two goodwill V6 updates past that date to address two significant issues introduced by Windows updates, as you’ll see if you check the release notes link.

If you’re having trouble downloading a new V6 release both within Reflect and using the download agent, Macrium Support would be the best resource for assistance, so my contribution to the “input from others” that you’re apparently seeking would be to recommend that you work with them according to their suggestions.

For the record, I was just now able to download the current release of Reflect V6 using the V6 download agent and an old key for Reflect V6 Server. I did this from a Windows Server 2016 system (Win10 1607 kernel) based in the US. I no longer have any active V6 installations though, so I can’t try “Check for updates”. I also don’t have any active Win7 / Server 2008 R2 systems, and I’m not going to go through the effort of setting up and patching a VM using one of those OSes just to replicate that variable from your environment after Macrium Support has already offered to help you and you’ve declined.
