The computer as a Dynamic Disk of 3 drives striped (RAID 0) and defined as drive F:

Backups were working fine till the update to Site Manager V 8.0.7121 with computer now running agent of same version number.  The error reported is can't find portion with specified drive letter, in this case "F".   I tried to create  a new definition yet it also dose not see the partition which I can access just fine in Windows Explorer.

I need a workaround or fix.  Creating a File and Folder Definition will work yet it will be concededly slower.

Thank you in advance

Hi Morris,

We've just identified a bug around detecting drive letter assignments from dynamic disks when generating Site Manager XML - we're still investigating and will put out a fix.

In the mean time, you could try using a backup definition rule using a volume label or other identifier instead.

Kind Regards,

Alex

Thank you Alex,

The workaround is in place and I have a backup running now.
