Would be nice to be able to customize email notifications with variables so that the email subject or body could contain things like the computer name, time/date, type of backup completed/failed/warning (full, differential, incremental), etc.

You have options for attaching log files that have this information and more.

Yes, but that's not what I'm requesting here.  Attached log files aren't the same as some quick useful information that can be seen in the subject or body of a success/warning/failure email
