Hi all!

I currently run a paid for copy of reflect 7 on my win 10 pc. I want to upgrade to win 11. Will doing so alter or delete any settings I have for reflect 7? How about the boot menu? Will reflect still be there? Pretty much want to know if anyone has upgraded to win 11 and had any issues with their existing reflect install while doing so?

thanks,
Nelson

I upgraded Windows 10 to Windows 11 with Reflect 8.x installed and with a boot menu option.  Nothing untoward happened.  Reflect was still registered and worked.  The Reflect boot menu option was still there and worked.  Even if it didn't, you could probably just add the boot menu option again in Reflect.

However, I would recommend you backup all necessary partitions to boot Windows before updating to Windows 11.  Best to be on the safe side in case something happens.  That way, you can regress back to Windows 10.  It's what I did before upgrading Windows 10.

Some users have reported that installing new Windows feature releases causes Reflect to fall out of activation and revert to the Free version.  But even if that happens, the remedy is simply to enter your license key again, and you're back in business.  But typically you will not have to do anything at all.  I performed an in-place upgrade to Windows 11 quite a while ago and didn't have to do anything within Reflect as a result.
