Where do you expect to find the XML definition files - on drive C: or drive D: ?
On my new Windows 11 computer the files have been (automatically) created on drive C: (which is an SSD).
On my old Windows 10 computer the files are on drive D: (which is an HDD). I can't remember whether this location was chosen automatically or created by me,

Windows 11 Home v22H2, Microsoft Edge, Macrium Reflect 8, Windows Defender, Malwarebytes Premium.
LibreOffice 7, Mailbird.

The default location is in the \Documents\Reflect folder of your user profile folder, although if you choose to store them elsewhere, then Reflect will remember that.  I would suggest keeping the default location unless you have a specific reason for changing it, e.g. a server where multiple administrators might need easy access to the files under their respective user logins.  But in that case, you may want to peruse this article.
