If you look at Incremental Backup Set template, you should notice that on the first Monday of every month, both a Full and Incremental are scheduled.  So how does Reflect act when both a incremental and full happen on the same day and time?  Does it just do the full, or just incremental, or both?

My goal is to create a backup that has a 10 week cycle.  It does a full backup every 10th Friday, and 9 incrementals in between on Fridays.

Bruce.

This is covered in the Reflect User Guide, which is well worth the read since Macrium’s documentation is better than most. But when different types of backups for the same job are scheduled for the same time, only the “highest order” backup runs, so an Incremental would be overridden by a Differential, and both would be overridden by a Full. When completely different backup jobs are scheduled for the same time, Reflect would queue one of them to run immediately after the other completed.

Excellent.  That's what I was hoping for.  I'll checkout the user guide, and you are right, Macrium’s documentation is better than most.

Thank!
