I have just started using viBoot with Reflect 8. I had a problem with BSODs which jphughan kindly helped me with in a different post.

I now get VirtualBox to open my backup but it just shows a totally blue screen/desktop in the VirtualBox window. No Start Menu or anything. Have I missed something?

Separate question, please. My laptop has 16Gb RAM. How much Startup RAM should I be selecting in the VirtualBox VM Settings? It seems that 2,048Gb is the default. Is that enough?

That’s plenty of memory. Are you running VirtualBox on Hyper-V’s engine rather than its own? That’s supported, but it can be a lot slower. VirtualBox has an icon in the lower-right corner of a VM console window to indicate its virtualization mode.
