20 years ago, PowerQuest used to make an imaging software called Drive Image. Drive Image used to have a standalone processing utility for image sets. With it, you could load an existing image and change things like the password, comments, file splitting, and compression level, which would then save a new 2nd copy of that image with the user defined changes. I think something similar for Reflect might be a good idea. Version 8 will allow editing comments in an image set, but that's about the extent of these editing changes I'm proposing.
