I use Macrium ImageGuard to protect my backup files and I have started to use Windows 10 Ransomeware protection.
Macrium runs OK if initiated by me but scheduled backups do not run, they are all "skipped".
I have put reflectbin.exe in  as an "allowed app in Windows 10 Ransomeware but I do not know what the Macrium Scheduler app is called so this is not allowed. What is the Scheduler app called and are there any other Macrium apps which need to be allowed?
In the meantime, I have to leave Windows 10 Ransomeware protection.off, with ImageGuard on.
Can you help please?

Try ReflectBin, Reflect, MacriumService (might be in the \Macrium\Common folder), and RMBuilder. I’d recommend that you continue using Image Guardian even if you use Windows Controlled Folder Access as well, though. Image Guardian adopts a much more restrictive approach than CFA when it comes to file access, in that it only allows Macrium applications (and Robocopy under certain conditions) and blocks everything else, as opposed to CFA (and anti-virus applications) that allow applications unless it considers them suspicious. The former approach is more secure from a design standpoint. The only reason it’s not more widely implemented is because it’s much less flexible, but since Macrium is only concerned with protecting Reflect backups and only Macrium applications should be modifying them anyway, they can “afford” to take that approach, whereas CFA can’t.

Thank you for your helpful response. My Macrium scheduled tasks are now running OK with Image Guardian and Windows CFA
