If I upgrade any of my keys now to v7, will these qualify for then a free upgrade to v8?

The last time around it was NEW licenses that received the FREE upgrade, not upgraded licenses.

Thanks, do you think they would give the offer to those from v6? or is it a case of tough luck?

I still got a modest discount when I upgraded from v5 directly to v7 recently which I thought was generous, given most software if you get a discount at all it tends to only be moving from the previous version, rather than the one before. I'd imagine I'd have done slightly better if I hadn't skipped v6 entirely as upgrading one version is discounted more heavily than two at a time, but I sort of understand you not wanting to upgrade to 7 for what will be a short period till 8 comes out.

I can't actually predict what policy will be this time around, but that's an observation of what Macrium have done previously, for what it's worth.

Given I am in the UK I will try to phone them tomorrow.

Just got told on phone the discount will be open to v6 customers as well, not just v7.
