I haven't seen any programmatic way to control MIG.  People have asked about it, and I haven't seen an official answer from Macrium, but I suspect the concern is that if such a means were offered, then it would be trivial for malware that gained admin privileges to disable MIG, thus rather reducing the effectiveness of MIG.  Granted, if your malware has admin privileges, it can do other damage as well, but that doesn't mean it should be made easier.
