I am a new user of Macrium Reflect. So far it seems to have the key features I need to backup several home computes, and it appears to be much more reliable than some other products. One feature that seems limited to me, however, is the file backup and restore feature. I realize that the options provided satisfy the need to restore given files to the state they had at a given point in time. I use file backup, however, to save all my user files from time to time. I would like to then restore just the files (a lot of files) so that only files that are older on the destination are replaced by ones from the backup. That is how I can update only files (not the full drive) when I need to without eliminating files that I have changed since the last backup. I also use this to periodically transfer user files to a backup computer. The current options of Replace all files or Replace files that are different don't allow me to do that. I could if a third option was replace only files that are newer in the backup. Thanks.
