To start, I should note that this topic could be related to either cloning or imaging - I don't care which one I need to use, so long as one of these methods will allow me to reach my objective.

My goal is to image (or clone) a Windows system drive to a new larger HD. As a result, I would like to have the Windows partition expanded to a larger size.

As an example (from a test VM) suppose that I have a 60GB HD partitioned like this:

100 MB   <-- EFI Partition
16.0 MB   <-- MSR Partition
59.38 GB   <-- Windows Partition
517 MB   <-- Recovery Partition

I would like to restore or clone to a 100 GB HD. Since this drive is 40 GB larger than the original drive, my hope would be that I could expand the Windows partition by 40GB, however, since there is a partition following this (the recovery partition) Reflect does not seem to want to allow this.

Are there any workarounds for this?

Steps 4 and 5 of this KB article: https://knowledgebase.macrium.com/plugins/servlet/mobile?contentId=7734158#content/view/7734158

It works the same way for imaging except the option in question is instead called “Restored Partition Properties”.

Thanks much. I'll give this a test run in the morning.
