Hello! I'd ask you to consider implementing way to edit comments in existing backup files. I think, such feature could be demanded in case of:
- a lot of files made without comments
- inaccuracy in comments
- mistakes in comments

Anyway, thank you for excellent software!

Hello - Did this capability/feature request ever get included?  Searching in Knowledgebase for "change comments" returns nothing relevant and searching here on the Forum returned only this that is relevant ...

Thanx.

This feature has not yet been implemented.  Several users have indicated this would be a worthwhile addition.

When running a manual backup, you can enter a comment by going to the Backup Definition Files tab > right-click the appropriate definition file > click Run Now > Prompt. Select the type of backup to be run (Full, Incremental, or Differential), > Set Backup Comment.

... and that's quite useful (thanks); what I was hoping for is ability to edit/change the comment field on an existing backup.  This would be useful for adding notes about significant changes to the environment being backed up to differential/incremental BUs.

Yes, I would be a fan of having that ability also.  Maybe it will be implemented sooner rather than later.  I think an abundance of folks would be happy to see that.
