I'm running Reflect Home v7.2.4808 on Windows 10. I tend to do a monthly differential backup but this time received the above error.
I've tried rebooting, running VSSFIX64.exe, and rebooting again with no result.
Since the last successful run, I remember installing Acronis True Image so I could backup my iPhone, but have now uninstalled it. I also changed to Kaspersky free antivirus.

Can anyone suggest how I get Macrium working? Aomei backup standard (also now uninstalled) seems to backup fine but I'd prefer to stick with Reflect as I've paid for it!!

thanks
.

I've had luck just doing an uninstall reinstall and then making sure it works like it's supposed to; recreating the boot image along with the bootable USB

tazmo8448, thanks for the suggestion. I'll try this and report back.

IMHO it seems unlikely that reinstallation would work as my understanding was that the issue lies with VSS but I'd love to be proven wrong!

here goes....

shouldn't matter which forum... if you're sticking with the old version there must be a reason

Thanks for posting.

Please can you post up the end of the VSS log? The last few lines show the VSS failure details.

Please see the following KB article to help locate the VSS log for the failed backup:
https://knowledgebase.macrium.com/display/KNOW72/Identifying,+diagnosing+and+reporting+VSS+errors

You can select lines in the VSS log and use the right click 'Copy' context menu.

Kind Regards

Nick
