I would like to have the (Advanced) option of showing or not showing a backup progress window during a scheduled backup. I know I can hover over the tray icon and see a percentage but I want a visible "hands off" and progress bar notice on the screen during the backup.
Thank you.

You can open the backup window you're enquiring about by clicking (right clicking/double clicking?) on the icon in the system tray.

Thank you, I understand - but - I have 4 workstations running scheduled backups, all at different times. Also I am never around the workstations when the backups are running. Therefore I need a visible "warning", or "alert" that a backup is in progress, do not use this workstation. Not everyone would need this, so I proposed having an "Advanced" option to choose to display the "alert" on screen or not.

So you basically want an option to open that window automatically whenever a backup process starts?

That is it - a visible window to show that a backup is in progress, and the percent completed or remaining.

Gotchya.  It's never been a problem with my setup to just open the window if I needed/wanted to see the progress.  I guess that's why I didn't fully understand your "wish" correctly up front.

I want to add my request for this feature. I find that when my wife gets on the PC first in the morning rather than me, she does not realize that a backup is running in the background.  I use a WD MyCloudEX2 server for the backups and it blinks noticeably while a backup is running.  But,inspite of that, she will sleep, hibernate or shutdown the system and cause all kinds of confusion.

I have tried to tell her about the icon in the tray, but she sees the PC as "toaster" and can't cope with anything "technical".  If there was an option to have an open dialog box that says "Backup in Progress" and a progress bar...  that would solve the problem.  Thanks for a great tool.  Version 6 has been great improvement in the product especially the scheduling improvements. I looked at Acronis and EaseUS products and none of them came close.

Yes, please allow running GUI batch jobs with a status window that is immediately visible.
