I have noticed that my backup time has increased from about a half hour for 3906 to almost an hour for subsequent updates (latest is 4063). The volume of about 120 gigs has remained the same.
Is there a way to get back to my former backup time?

In case Macrium posts to say that nothing in the code has changed that would affect F&F backup speed (which judging by the release notes seems likely), just to consider some other potential variables, are you comparing Full backups rather than Diff backups or especially Inc backups where consolidation might be occurring?  And even if the total size of the source data is the same, are the sizes of the resulting files the same?  Even if you don't have you don't have the backup files created by 3906 anymore, you might still have the logs from those jobs.  They include the total size of the source data backed up, the size of the resulting file, and even the Reflect version that was installed at the time.

If there aren't any differences there, you didn't specify where you're backing up to (USB or network target, hard drive or SSD, etc.), but if it's a spinning hard drive attached via USB, file system fragmentation on the drive might be a factor.  And if it's a network destination, of course that adds an additional layer of variability.

(And just as a side note, the build numbers you're posting suggest you're using Reflect V7, but you posted this in the V6 section of the forum.)

Thanks for the reply. Sorry for misplacing my post. I do have a V7. I am comparing full backups to full backups, no Diffs involved. Both source data and resulting backup files are the same. I am using a USB external hard drive for the back up.

I uninstalled 3906and then reinstalled 4063 and it worked like a charm. Now I am back to my prior speed level. Don't know why, however.
