Good day to all

I have two questions and to get the right answer here is some info.

My daily PC is my Lenovo Flex5 15” laptop with Windows10 and I use the Reflect Free Version for my backups.

Then I have my older ASUS 17” Laptop with Windows8.1 which developed overheating problems and although I fixed the problem I don’t trust the PC very much and I plan not to use it often. I use my Reflect licenced for my backups on this PC but since I will not use it often I want to transfer my licence to my Lenovo laptop and use the free Reflect on the ASUS for the occasional backup (basically to keep Windows8.1 up today). So how I can transfer my licence from one laptop to the other?

Then I have a desktop PC which I built myself about 10 years ago and I use it now to run my home build CNC Mill. This PC with Intel core 2 Duo, 3.0GHz had XP Home OS but I just change it to Vista Home Premium 32bit (I had the Vista DVD). I know my licenced Reflect is for 64bit systems but would I be able to use it for the 32bit Vista backups and if yes how?

Assuming I can’t back up my Vista with my current Reflect licence, what is my alternative?

Thank you

To transfer a license from a PC that still works, launch Reflect and click Help > Remove License.  Then use the license key you just freed up to install/activate Reflect on whatever PC you want to use that license with going forward.  If the PC that had the license was completely dead, you would still be able to reuse your license key on some other PC, but you might hear from Macrium about duplicate activations of the same key, in which case you'd just need to reply asking them to invalidate the dead PC's activation.

Reflect licenses are not specific to a particular CPU architecture or Windows version, i.e. you can use a given license key with either a 32-bit or 64-bit Reflect installation.

Thanks for the help, I will later do the license transfer as you suggested however when I try to install a reflect download like “v6.3.1835_reflect_setup_free_x64” to my Vista 32bit operating system it says that the file is not compatible and to contact the vendor. I assume I can’t install a 64bit download on a 32bit operating system and that’s why I asked what options I have.

I know 32bit OS are not common today but for my needs the Vista is all I need to run my CNC

Download the Reflect V6 download agent from this link, and it should automatically default to retrieving the 32-bit version of the latest Reflect V6 installer if you're running it from a 32-bit OS.  If not (or if you want to download the 32-bit installer on a 64-bit OS to transfer it to another PC later), click the Options button and manually choose 32-bit.  Good luck!

Thanks so much for the help. I downloaded the program and now I install it using the option for 32bit. I also switched the ones from my 2 laptops and looks all is fine

Much appreciated
