The description for Event ID 258 from source mrcbt cannot be found. Either the component that raises this event is not installed on your local computer or the installation is corrupted. You can install or repair the component on the local computer.

If the event originated on another computer, the display information had to be saved with the event.

The following information was included with the event:

HarddiskVolumeShadowCopy6278

The specified resource type cannot be found in the image file

Hi Guruuno,

As per the event message, either the MRCBTES.DLL component that raises this event is not installed on your local computer or the installation is corrupted.

Please could you confirm that the "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\EventLog\System\mrcbt" Registry key is configured as per the following screenshot?

Please can you also confirm that "MRCBTES.DLL" file exists in your "Windows\system32\" folder?

If not or if you have any difficulty determining this information, please can you open a support ticket at https://www.macrium.com/support and we will by happy to provide further assistance.

Kind Regards,
