I need to edit my settings, but cannot do so.  When I start Macrium, I have an icon in the task bar, but cannot see the Macrium window.

System Information:
Windows 10 Pro (fully updated)

I purchased the license in September 2017.

Thank you for your assistance.

Best regards,
David

Hmm, I’ve never seen this happen with Reflect, but Windows does weird stuff like this sometimes. A simple restart might fix this, otherwise try right-clicking the taskbar icon and selecting Maximize. If that doesn’t do it, make sure it’s selected and when press WinKey+Left Arrow a few times, or WinKey+Right. It may be hiding off-screen.

Thank you for the suggestions.  I tried every one of them with no success.  Oddly, the Macrium window briefly opens, but then it minimizes.  If I mouse over the icon on the task bar, I can see that the window is indeed the correct initial window after analyzing the disks.  I can't seem to persuade the window to reveal itself it me.

Also, when I right click on the icon, I do not have a choice of maximize, etc.  All I can do is close the window.

Do you have any additional suggestions?

The Maximize option appears by right-clicking the thumbnail that appears when you mouse over the taskbar icon; sorry about that, I forgot Microsoft had moved it.

If the Windows key shortcuts to bring the application window across displays didn't work and neither did a restart, i would probably just uninstall and reinstall at this point.  Fortunately that's pretty painless because Reflect defaults to preserving your schedules, settings, etc.  You can use the download agent here to retrieve a full installer: http://updates.macrium.com/reflect/v7/reflectdlfull.exe

Thank you!  I too had forgotten that MS had moved the Maximize button.  I'm  feeling a little silly right now.  :-(  I appreciate your patience with what was a real newbie question.  :-)

You're welcome!  Did that fix it?  Even if it did, I don't know why Reflect would have started minimized.  Are you launching it from a customized shortcut, perhaps?  When I launch it from the desktop and Start menu shortcuts it creates, it starts either maximized.or in a normal window, depending on how it was last used.  If it was last used minimized, though, it seems to start as a normal window.

That indeed fixed it.  :-)  I launched it from both the start menu in Windows and from a shortcut on the tool bar.  To the best of my knowledge, there was nothing special about the launch mechanism.

I'm sorry I can't provide more information.

Best regards,
David
