I know there have been a few previous threads about these services.
Believe though that I am using Reflect in a slightly different way.

Like v6 I launch Reflect separately, as a standalone tool.
I don't use it for (file) backup purposes - am using another tool for that.
Every now and then I create an image and thus launch Reflect from the desktop icon.

Given that scenario, is it then possible to safely disable these services?
(even though, admittedly, the resources are limited)
After all, Office programs usually do not  constantly run in the background either.

Thanks for posting.

Both the UI watcher and Service are automatically started if not running when Reflect starts. If you disable Macrium Reflect Service you may experience problems when using Macrium Reflect to schedule images, we also cannot guarantee that Macrium Reflect will be operational without Macrium Service in future updates.  

As you can see from the Task Manager output both processes are on wait timers so consume zero percent CPU and have a very small footprint so you really shouldn't be concerned.

I am always trying to minimize the number of services running being reason for my question.
Sometimes services my be conflicting, even though they may not have any impact on the performance.

Anyway, I'll leave it this way.
(oh, I don't run any scheduled tasks - I simply run Macrium Reflect once every ... days, for imaging)
