I tried to load a 32bit uefi image from a tablet in viboot, and it fails to load, and causes a loading loop failure.

Can viboot handle 32bit uefi?

I'm afraid that Hyper-V Gen 2 VM's do not support 32 bit Windows. 32 bit is only supported with Gen 1 and that means MBR not UEFI.

Here is a  way to run a 32bit uefi  tablet image in Hyper-V. You basically convert it to legacy bios.

1) Image backup tablet using MR.

2) Create a gen 1 vm in Hyper-V by booting from an installation iso, creating a blank vhd, and select custom install and click "new", then shut down vm immediately - do not install.

3) Boot vm from a Macrium Rescue iso, and restore C drive ONLY from backup of tablet.

4) Run "fix windows boot problems".

Once complete, you can open vm in viboot, do whatever changes you want.  

Then save C drive only using MR and restore to tablet.
