Please update Reflect to support the vLatest functional levels in Windows Task Scheduler. That would allow power users to enable the "Run As Soon as Possible When Missed" function in Task Scheduler on our backup tasks AND still see those tasks in Reflect.

Currently, if I manually upgrade the functional level on the task in Task Scheduler, Reflect can no longer see the task any more.

That option is very necessary because my computers are often asleep, and I do not allow them to wake just to run a backup. I want the backups to run only when the PCs get used. I use incremental backups to make them fast, and the new incremental engine in v7 sounds like it will make them even faster. Without that option enabled, the backups do not run unless the computer is running at the exact time that the schedule is triggered.

Hello Mark Smeltzer,

Thanks for posting.

Version 7 of Reflect will contain some changes to task scheduling. This area has to be updated carefully to ensure tasks are compatible with both new and legacy operating systems.

Kind Regards

Stephen
