I use a cloud backup service that monitors the folders that Macrium Reflect backups to. The combination works great, although there is one tiny problem. The temporary files and 'backup_running' file that Macrium Reflect creates while running a backup, are being picked up and uploaded to the cloud backup service as well. My suggestion is to mark all temporary files that Reflect creates as hidden, so that they are excluded from being uploaded.

Are you not capable of filtering out the unnecessary files from your Cloud Backup?  What Cloud service are you using?

No, Jottacloud, the cloud service I use, unfortunately doesn't seem to have very good filtering functionality. I can filter out by folder or file name, but because the name is different for each backup, the filter would require constant maintenance. I realise this is a lack of functionality on the cloud services' rather than Reflect's side, but because there isn't really any reason the temporary backup files should be visible to the user, I reckoned auto-marking the files as hidden is something worth requesting.
