Can I set up a local USB attached HDD as a repository other than by sharing the HDD via a network share?  I basically just want to use the management console to keep an eye on local backups of my 4 home machines each of which has a connected USB drive.

Hi

Thanks for posting.

Backups configured and scheduled using the CMC must use an accessible network share for both the client and CMC server to access for scheduling and restoring. However, you can still run local backups in Reflect to locally disks exactly the same as you would for a standalone install. You can also see the logs from these backups and monitor progress in the dashboard of the CMC.

Kind Regards

Nick
